The Story of Blind Side Industries

For the last 20 years I've spent my career in a spray booth, finishing all things wood! My entire life hunting has been my passion, and outside of my career, once fall comes around, I spend most of my free time hunting everything from deer to grouse and everything in between. I discovered waterfowl hunting when I was 16 and from there on out, I was hooked! My waterfowl hunting started in Wisconsin and has led me to many different waterfowl hunting areas across the US. 

As our family grew, my passion for waterfowl hunting grew even bigger when I was able to share the excitement with our son. The smiles, excitement and passion that I could see and share with him during this time, became a game changer in the waterfowl hunts. I knew that this was something that we could share our passion for and build strong traditions around. 

As I've grown older and watched the kids grow older, I've learned the value of time and that there is nothing more important than cherishing those moments together. Days, evenings, nights and weekends in the spray booth continued to pass and with each passing day, the kids seemed to grow older in a blink of an eye. As my wife and I continue to do the normal day to day, as many families do, we realized that we wanted to be able to do something that our entire family could be part of and give up the late nights and many weekends that I've spent in the finishing shop.... Welcome to a new era of hunting - Blind Side Industries was created!

Over the many years of waterfowl hunting, watching the patterns of the birds, trying All of the different styles of decoys...somedays, just seemed like nothing would bring the birds within range. What was missing? What could assure that each hunt would bring some kind of excitement? After years of searching the decoy markets and having specifics in mind for the decoys, but always unable to find what I was searching for, I decided to put my ideas on paper and design what I had been looking for. This led to the development of Blind Side Industries and our new, improved motion decoys.

Our motion decoys are meant to replicate the realistic motion of live birds to assure that they'll help you have a successful hunt.
